Online Mass

My brothers and sisters in Christ,
During the current health crisis in which we have been instructed not to offer public Mass, we would like to provide you the celebration of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass each day here at St. Andrew's.  The parish priests will be celebrating Mass daily in accordance with the guidelines of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.  Each Mass will be offered for the intentions reserved as well as for all of our parishioners and for an end to this pandemic.
While a "virtual" Mass is never the same as being able to participate personally, you can still participate from home, pray with us, listen to the Scriptures and homily, and make a Spiritual Communion.  I suggest the following during Communion time:
"I wish my Lord to receive you, with the purity, humility and devotion with which your Most Holy Mother received you,
with the spirit and fervor of the saints."

I would also like to call your attention to the "Donation button" provided on our website.
Without public Masses, our parish income has been reduced to almost zero.  As a result we have had to dramatically cut staff and expenses.
If it continues much longer we would not be able to pay our regular utility bills.
Once this emergency is over, I think all of us want to be able to worship once again as a community of faith in our beautiful church.  Your generous donation each week will ensure that this is possible.  May God reward you!

Please be assured of my prayers for each of you during this difficult time in our world.  May God bless you richly!

In Christ and St. Andrew,

Fr. Marcos J. Gonzalez, Pastor
